Cristy Luis Padilla

Cristy Luis Padilla (she/her): Cristy Luis Padilla is a freshman studying Criminology and Political Science on a pre-law track. She aspires to become an immigration lawyer in the future and give back to the immigrant community for paving the way to pursuing a higher education. Cristy is a part of multiple organizations on campus such as Penn for Immigrant Rights, Unidos Pre-Law Association, West Philadelphia Tutoring Project, and Penn Leads the Vote. Through theseorganizations,shehopestohelpmakeameaningfulimpactonthePhiladelphiacommunity and beyond by making them feel welcomed and respected. Ultimately, through the CLALS Undergraduate Advisory Board, she has been able to meet students who support the same cause oftheimportanceofeducatingothersonthehistoryandcontributionsthattheLatinocommunity has made.
