Adijared Huerta Flores (she/her): Adijared Huerta is a first-generation Chicana in her second-year from Southeast Los Angeles studying Environmental Studies and Political Science with a minor in Latin American and Latinx Studies. Beyond the UAB, she serves as President of the Collective Success Network, sits on multiple advisory boards (including SAGE, the FGLI Dean’s Advisory Board, the Student Health Insurance Advisory Board, and the Residential Services Advisory Board), and is the Finance Chair for groups like MEChA and the Latinx Coalition! Outside of campus leadership, she interns with the Philadelphia Legal Assistance and teaches as a STEM Instructor for the Fife Academy in the School of Engineering. In her free time, she loves traveling, exploring new Mexican restaurants (always searching for the best one!), and trying different matcha spots around Philly. Feel free to reach out to her if you’d like to talk about balancing different commitments, finding community, or what the Center has to offer.
