Miguel Rojas (he/him)

LALS Undergraduate Advisory Board Member (2025-2026)

Miguel Rojas, a first-year, first-generation, Mexican-American student from Evanston, Illinois and intends to major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. He is currently involved in several Latino organizations, including ALPFA and MEChA. Every year, he tries to visit family in Guanajuato, Mexico, where his parents grew up, maintaining a close connection to his cultural roots. The Center of Latin American & Latinx Studies is important as it offers meaningful opportunities to learn about the broader Latino community and meet other Latino students who share similar experiences and interests.
