CLALS is excited to co-sponsor “Designing Blackness in Brazil: The Future of the Museum," organized by Africana Studies and the Penn Museum. The conference will engage with new paradigms for museums that are inclusive, authentic, and dynamic. These sets of practices are marking a roadmap for curatorial practices that reflect and respect the complexities of African and African Diasporic bodies in contemporary exhibition spaces.
Those outside of the USA can contact africana@sas.upenn.edu to watch virtually.
