Tales of the Inca - Yolanda Carbajal Zuniga & Laurence Salzmann
Short presentation followed by a visit to the exhibit, A Life with Others, at Penn Library
 
The program will feature Yolanda Carbajal Zuniga from Cusco, Peru. Yolanda worked as Laurence’s assistant in Cusco helping to further his research in Quechua-speaking communities as a native speaker and wrote the text for the book Misk'i Kachi // Sal Dulce // Sweet Salt in Quechua and Spanish. She also edited the book Misk'i Kachi Runakuna // Gente de Sal Dulce // Sweet Salt People. Yolanda Carbajal Zuniga and Laurence Salzmann will discuss their collaboration followed by a visit to the photography exhibit. They will also screen Laurence’s and Yolanda’s film Misk’i Kachi.
