Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies Tyler Jenkins-Wong's paper, entitled “Illuminating the Shadows: Protecting the Elections from Foreign Elections,” has been awarded the 2024 José Miguel Oviedo Award from the Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies for the best paper by an undergraduate student.
Lia Enriquez's paper, entitled “Community perceptions of climate change risk in community members of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristobal, Galapagos,” has received an honorable mention by this year’s committee for the 2024 José Miguel Oviedo Award for the best undergraduate paper in Latin American and Latinx Studies.
