Applications for LALSES and LALSIS are open!

The Latin American and Latinx Studies Program will grant at least eight LALS External Speaker (LALSES) series grants (ranging from $300 to $1500) to cover the costs of hosting an in-person or virtual course guest speaker in one of our LALS cross-listed courses to be taught in Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.  LALS Affiliated Faculty are encouraged to apply, and LALS Affiliated Assistant Professors will be prioritzed if the demand is high.  Please submit an application here by June 1, 2021, and review this additional form to assist in preparing an application.  Please visit the LALSES section of our website to learn more about the series and previous guest-speakers.

 

The Latin American and Latinx Studies Program is accepting applications from LALS Affiliated Faculty and Advanced Graduate Students who are interested in presenting their work-in-progress in the Latin American and Latinx Studies Internal Speaker (LALSIS) series.
