Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies The Latin American and Latinx Studies Program will grant at least eight LALS External Speaker (LALSES) series grants (ranging from $300 to $1500) to cover the costs of hosting an in-person or virtual course guest speaker in one of our LALS cross-listed courses to be taught in Fall 2021 or Spring 2022. LALS Affiliated Faculty are encouraged to apply, and LALS Affiliated Assistant Professors will be prioritzed if the demand is high.
