LALS becomes CLALS Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies at Penn

Dear LALS community,

 We hope you and yours may all be in good health as you receive this note. We want to share with you the great news that as of July 1st, 2021 our Program of Latin American and Latinx Studies will become the Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies at Penn. Our new Center will continue working on all the programming and educational mission of LALS, and will now have more resources to support research, among other possibilities in the form of a postdoctoral fellow, a visiting fellow, and more grants and awards to support faculty, and graduate and undergraduate students research and initiatives.
