Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies LALS is happy to announce, in coordination with the Greater Philadelphia Latin American Studies Consortium (GPLASC), visiting scholar Carlos de la Torre. Dr. de la Torre, Professor of Sociology at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, has been published widely on Latin American politics and society.
The title of Dr. de la Torre's talk is, "Trump's Populism: Lessons from Latin America."
