Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies Kate Barnes (C'25) has been awarded the 2025 José Miguel Oviedo Award from the Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies of the University of Pennsylvania for her paper “From the Pandemic to the Polls: How the Social and Economic Consequences of Iván Duque’s Lockdowns Led to Colombia’s Leftward Political Shift.”
