José Angelo Machado (2018-2019)

José Angelo Machado is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in Brazil, where he served as Chair between 2013 and 2015. Prof. Machado has a BA (1991) and MA (2000) in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Human Sciences (2007) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais.

Prof. Machado was public manager and consultant in local, provincial, and national governmental agencies in areas of planning and management. His research interests include political institutions, strategic interaction, federative systems and intergovernmental relations, decentralization, planning and management of public policies.
